What is the difference between different livestock manure and organic fertilizer?

Date:2024/08/23

Today Xiaobian will introduce the nature of different livestock and poultry manure in detail, and discuss their application and required equipment in the process of conversion into organic fertilizer.

Pig manure

"Sheep manure is rich every year, pig manure is strong every year", this proverb reveals the uniqueness of different organic fertilizers. Pig manure is rich in nutrients, especially potassium, nitrogen, phosphorus content is second only to sheep manure. Its texture is fine, ammoniating bacteria, easy to decompose, fast fertilizer efficiency, and conducive to the formation of humus, soil improvement effect is remarkable. Soft fat, strong enough, is a warm fertilizer. Suitable for all kinds of crops and soil, whether paddy field or dry soil, can be used as base fertilizer or topdressing. After the dry and wet separation, many pig farms will directly transport it to the Organic Fertilizer plant, which will be processed into high-value Organic Fertilizer through the organic fertilizer Granulator in the Organic Fertilizer Production Line.

Goat dung

The heat of sheep manure is between horse manure and cattle manure, and its content of nitrogen, calcium and magnesium is higher. Sheep manure is widely applicable and has a good yield increase effect on all kinds of soils and crops. The goat manure can be used as base fertilizer, topdressing fertilizer and seed fertilizer. On the organic fertilizer production line, sheep manure can also be converted into granular fertilizer that is easy to store and transport by efficient pelleting equipment.

Cow dung, horse dung

"Pig manure, sheep manure strong, cattle manure follow around". Cattle manure and horse manure, although less fertile than pig manure and sheep manure, have their unique role in soil improvement. Horse manure is of high fiber content, coarse, loose and porous, easy to rot and calorific value. It is a thermal fertilizer, especially suitable for breeding seedlings in hotbeds. Cow dung is fine texture, high water content, slow ripening, fertilizer effect lasting, cold fertilizer, often used as base fertilizer. Windrow Compost Turning Machine is usually used to promote uniform compost ripening and improve production efficiency when using cow and horse manure for organic fertilizer production.

Chicken dung

"Chicken manure fertilizer efficiency is high, no fever dead seedling". The nutrient content of chicken manure is much higher than that of animal manure, and the high temperature generated during decomposition makes it a thermal fertilizer. Chicken manure is rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and trace elements, which is an extremely valuable organic fertilizer resource. However, due to its high temperature characteristics, adequate fermentation must be ensured when used so as not to directly burn the crop. In the organic Fertilizer production line, the treatment of chicken manure is more strict, and it is necessary to use professional fermentation equipment and organic fertilizer granulator (Fertilizer Granules Compaction Machine) to ensure product quality and safety.

To sum up, different livestock and poultry manure has its own advantages and disadvantages in organic fertilizer production, and selecting appropriate treatment methods and equipment is the key to improve the quality of organic fertilizer.
